Making a clean PDF look like a desk scan (for picky upload portals)
When a government or bank portal rejects 'too perfect' PDFs and wants something that looks scanned.

Some upload portals flag digitally-born PDFs as 'unsupported.' Same content, different rejection. Scan Studio adds paper grain, slight rotation, and edge wear so the file reads like it came off a flatbed.
Don't overcook it
Heavy aging looks fake on a two-page bank letter. Light grain + micro rotation is enough for most portals. Preview at 100% zoom — if text looks muddy, reduce the effect.
- Export PDF if the portal requires PDF; PNG for image-only forms
- Match page size to the original (A4 vs Letter)
- Keep an unmodified copy for your records
Everything processes locally, which matters when the source document has account numbers you would not email to a stranger.
