Frequently asked questions
Will merging PDFs reduce quality?
No. Merge concatenates existing page content. Image quality and fonts stay as in the source files unless a source PDF is already compressed.
Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?
There is no artificial file-count limit. Very large packs are limited by your device memory — merge in batches if the browser slows down.
Do page numbers continue across merged files?
Existing page numbers in each source stay as-is. Add continuous numbering afterward with the Page Numbers tool if you need a single sequence.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Unlock each file first with Unlock PDF (only for PDFs you own), then merge. Encrypted sources cannot be combined until opened.
