Marketplaces reward clean white backgrounds. Shooting on a wrinkled bed sheet works until the algorithm flags your listing. Background removal plus a flat white fill gets you 80% of studio look.

Shoot once, process many

Hang a plain poster board behind the product. Single soft light from the side reduces harsh shadows. You do not need perfection — removal tools handle mild shadows if contrast is decent.

  • Leave a little margin around the product in frame
  • Avoid glass and chrome reflections if you can
  • Export PNG after removal for transparent listings
